The table consists of four sections: head, back, seat and leg. All sections are x-ray translucent material, which meets radiation standards. All sections have a built-in x-ray cassette channel which will accept x-ray film packs of 14” x 17” or smaller. The table has a sliding movement to the head or foot end to allow positioning of the c-arm for fluoroscopy during surgical procedures.
The table controls are located on a single movement control arm at the head end of the table. This control arm rotates 180° laterally and has 30° of vertical movement permitting access to the controls by circulating nurse or an anesthesiologist.
The outer lifting column and base are stainless steel covered to prevent corrosion and to provide for easy clean up. Hydraulics are sealed to prevent contamination. The headrest can be installed on either the back section or, if necessary to reverse the patient, the leg section.
The back section is moveable from 30° below horizontal to 90° above. The leg section lowers 95° and raises 90°. The table is compatible with a portable or ceiling mounted image intensifier, and has standard siderails for use with all accessories regardless of manufacturer. The table is capable of six positions consisting of gallbladder, lithomy, neurosurgery (chair), proctology (jackknife), EENT and kidney. These positions are all obtainable at any height from 28” to 44”. Additional specifications include: length 75”, width 20” (excluding side rails), 17° lateral tilt, 25° trendelenburg and 25° reverse trendelenburg.
