The
Valleylab Force 4B
Generator
For the most demanding
requirements in electrosurgery.
When it comes to the most demanding electrosurgery procedures--including cardiovascular and urology cases--the Valleylab Force 4B delivers unequaled power and performance.
Electrosurgery's premier high-performance generator, the Force 4B offers the surgeon an unprecedented range of operating modes, as well as Valleylab's innovative remote power control feature.
And, the Force 4B also sets the standard for patient safety through Valleylab's exclusive REM contact quality monitoring. A Valleylab innovation, the REM contact quality monitoring system has been proven to virtually eliminate the risk...and the liability...of burns at the return electrode site.
The standard for performance
Spray coag
Delivers efficient, high-voltage coag ideally suited for the demands of
cardiovascular and urology procedures.
Soft coag
Minimizes the depth of tissue necrosis.
Low voltage coag
Ensures controlled, pinpoint desiccation with less destruction of peripheral
tissue.
Standard and precise
microbipolar modes
Provide controlled desiccation without charring, adhesion and blanching of
adjacent tissue. The precise mode also permits bipolar desiccation under
magnification without tissue build-up.
Simultaneous
independent coag
Enhances convenience and efficiency because two surgeons can fulgurate
simultaneously from a single generator.
Remote power control
Allows cut and coag power adjustments to be made using the Valleylab Power
Control Pencil. Permits the surgeon to control settings from the
sterile field for rapid response to changing surgical conditions.
Handswitching or
footswitching control
Accommodates the surgeon's preference in both monopolar and bipolar modes.
The standard for safety
REM contact quality
monitoring
Provides the highest level of patient safety with the Valleylab autoranging
REM system. It automatically benchmarks individual patient impedance
when the REM return electrode is applied. If an increase in impedance
occurs--indicating that patient/return electrode contact is compromised, the
REM system automatically deactivates the generator to virtually eliminate the
risk of burns at the return electrode site.
Valleylab REM safety has been proven in more than 30 million procedures worldwide. And that is why Valleylab can offer the exclusive REM Hold Harmless Guarantee, indemnifying surgeons, staff and the hospital from liability for return electrode burns.
Ground fault interrupt
Monitors output current and deactivates the generator if current division
occurs, to protect against alternate site burns.
Independent activation
of accessories
Is designed to activate each accessory only when keyed, to reduce the
potential for injury caused by a misplaced active electrode.
