REM™ contact quality
monitoring
Provides the highest level of patient safety with the Valleylab autoranging
REM™ system. It automatically benchmarks individual patient impedance
when the REM™ return electrode is applied. If an increase in impedance
occurs--indicating that patient/return electrode contact is compromised, the
REM™ system automatically deactivates the generator to virtually eliminate the
risk of burns at the return electrode site.
